An exploration in visual identity for Café Ambrosia, focused on translating its essence into a cohesive graphic language through experimentation, refinement, and creative direction.
Two distinct identity directions were explored:
The first one balanced structure with craft. A modern sans serif formed the foundation, layered with handwritten elements to reflect the bakery’s artisanal side.
Custom sketches were developed as flexible graphic resources to be used across both concepts adding warmth, texture, and personality to the overall brand language.
The second concept took a more typographic approach. Built around a soft, versatile serif, this exploration focused on clarity and elegance, reflecting the atmosphere of the space while tapping into New York’s sense of timeless sophistication — refined, confident, and understated.
